
Chocolate Covered Cherry Protein Shakefeatured
Did you know there are so many health benefits to dark cherries?! They are the epitome of the phrase, “nature’s candy.” They’re sweet, delectable, AND provide your body with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants just to name a few.
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 frozen banana (I add this to nearly all of my shakes for the creamy consistency it creates)
- 1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries
- handful of spinach or kale
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (Orgain is my personal favorite)
- If you don’t have chocolate protein powder, you can use vanilla and add 1 tbsp 100% cacao powder.
- Blend until smooth
