Bets Are Placedfeatured

Here she is. The house I ran past countless times, briefly eyeing the “For Sale” sign, but never thinking much about it. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would someday own it, but wow, can life take you by surprise! We’re now a year in, and bets are placed on when the day will come that we can actually live in it. One of us thinks it will be sometime in August. Someone else thinks it will be at least the end of October, and even that seems too optimistic. Spoiler alert: I’m “someone else.”
